Open the PDF in Pandaedits, choose the Sign tool, and draw your signature with a mouse, trackpad or finger — or type it and pick a handwriting face. Drop it on the signature line, size it, and download. No printer, no scanner, and no posting the document to a signing service.

The print-sign-scan ritual exists only because most readers cannot place a signature. It costs paper, a scanner and a rescan that leaves the page grey and crooked. Signing in place keeps the document exactly as it was, with your signature drawn on top of it.

No, and it is worth being clear about it. This draws your handwritten signature onto the page as an image, the way signing a printout does. It is not a cryptographic digital signature, it certifies nothing about who signed or whether the file changed afterwards. For everyday forms, letters and agreements that is exactly what is being asked for.

If you need a certified signature that a reader can verify — a deed, or a filing that names the standard — you need a certificate from a trust provider, and Pandaedits is not that. It will also warn you before you change a PDF someone has already signed that way, because doing so breaks their signature.
